An exciting new role has arisen for a Plymouth-based Superyacht manufacturer to develop effective and efficient stock control management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the assembly logistics function, working within agreed timescales to ensure parts are pulled and stored efficiently. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will strive to improve and develop functions within the factory.
Key responsibilities to include –
- Developing a team of eighteen staff.
- Ensuring the right parts are requested on time and consumed within set timescales.
- Report savings based on correction of bill of material.
- Instigate Lean initiatives to support Fit Out.
- Drive efficiency in line with key objectives.
You must have a proven track record of working logically,systematically and at problem-solving within tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must and the ability to work as part of a team as well as manage people.
Desired skills include Awards achieved through the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Hours; Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am-12.30pm. (39 hours per week)
Salary:
£35,000 + Benefits
