A large Yacht sales and service centre based in Asia is currently seeking an experienced Service and Warranty Engineer to join their skilled team, based from their Thailand Outlet. 
As new agents for a number of International brands, as well as an extensive brokerage listings, the company operates across the Asia region, offering sales, service, warranty and aftersales support to its extensive customer base. With a range of high-end products on sale there is a huge focus on the customer, from initial enquiry through to delivery, with all stages of the process having to pass a high standard of service and execution. 
The role of the Service/Warranty Engineer will take the boat from its initial arrival on-site. This could be PDI from factory arrival along with the fit of any dealer-fit options, through to repair and maintenance work on a newly received stock brokerage boat. Furthermore the existing customer base will also be returning for either site or factory-approved warranty works, from electrical to GRP, mechanical to furniture. 
The company are seeking a highly skilled individual with the following expertise:
– Faultfinding knowledge – Electrical and Mechanical. Both with electronic faultfinding systems and through hands-on testing
– Comissioning Experience – Either at factory level or as a dealer fitting out non-factory options
– Warranty Claims – Experience in receiving, processing and verifying claims for mechanical, electrical, furniture and GRP repair.
You will have likely gained a City & Guilds in Engineering and an amount of supplier training in order to have gained the above experience, however any extra formal training gained will also be a huge positive. 
Whilst the role will be predominantly based from the service centre, you will need to be able to speak with owners from time to time, so an approachable manner will be key, as will an ability to speak in terms that can be widely understood (not too technical)
As this role is Asia-based, you will need to either be already based in the region, or prepared to relocate. The employer will assist with relocation costs for the applicant only, as well as cover any Visa applications. Please be aware that family relocation is not offered and would therefore be  at your own cost.
