Description: Job Requirements:
- 5+ Years Boat Rigging Experience
- Excellent knowledge of marine, yacht and sailing industry.
- Excellent knowledge of marine and rigging products.
- Ability to splice most ropes.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be hardworking, have attention to detail & a very high standard of workmanship.
- High degree of flexibility and initiative.
- Hydraulic experience is an added bonus.
- Must be physically fit and healthy, with no fear of heights.
- Willing to work overtime/occasional weekends if required.
- Must hold a full drivers license.
Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Stepping/un-stepping masts
- Replacing/tuning standing rigging
- Carrying out re-rigs
- Making up of rigging using a swaging machine.
- Carrying out rig inspections / rig tunes
- Making up lifelines
- Producing rope work (splicing/whipping)
- Servicing of winches, hydraulic backstays and boom vangs etc
- Over-the-counter sales (if required)
