JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the UK & Ireland Sales Manager, your role will be to develop and manage the sales team responsible for the recreation business in line with UK strategy. Ensure all team members are engaged, supported and motivated to maximize sales and profit potential in existing and new markets.
We are looking for someone to manage day to day the 3 sales people that work within the Recreation team. The successful candidate will need to be very commercially aware, happy to negotiate at a high level and look for new opportunities. The role will based in our client’s office 2 days per week and then out on the road with the sales team and meeting our client’s customers (mainly in and around London).
The main markets that this role will support include running, walking, golf and eventually Marine, as the role develops.
Required Experience

Required Experience
- Sales & Marketing experience ideally from the consumer electronics, sports and outdoor market.
- Experience of managing people and building high performing teams
- Team player and used to working in a dynamic and fast growing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship building/maintain skills
Requirements
- Full driving license
- Ability to travel on business domestically and internationally
SALARY
£35,000-£40,000pa basic + commission
