JOB DESCRIPTION

Required qualifications and experience:

• An RYA Yachtmaster Ocean (commercially endorsed) or IYT Master of Yachts Ocean
• Proficiency for Persons in Charge of Medical Care On Board Ship qualification
• ENG1 medical certificate
• GMDSS GOC/LRC certificate
• Have excellent interpersonal, team and leadership skills
• The highest levels of safety and seamanship

Desired qualifications:

• Yachtmaster or Cruising Instructor certificate or experience
• Diesel engine maintenance experience or qualification
• Marine radar systems
• Have experience, endless energy, drive, determination and commitment

SALARY

18 month contract
£35,000 p.a. tax free*
£3,000 post race bonus**
*depending on personal circumstances
**not related to race finish position
