JOB DESCRIPTION

First mate required for high profile IMOCA 60 sailing yacht with busy overseas corporate hospitality programme. The yacht is currently in the Caribbean and will be completing a tour of the east and west coast of America throughout 2013.

Working as an integral part of a four person team you will be an experienced offshore sailor used to living in close proximity with your fellow crew. An acceptance of Spartan living conditions and an expectation of hard work are essential. The successful applicant will require excellent interpersonal skills and be able to play an active part in ensuring that corporate hospitality is delivered to an appropriate standard. As part of the crew you will be representing the company and sponsors both afloat and ashore, impeccable levels of personal presentation and behaviour are required at all times.

Applicants should hold

a minimum of Yachtmaster offshore with commercial endorsement
First Aid certificate
B1-B2 US Visa


An ability to act as occasional relief skipper would be an advantage.
