JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client, A highly regarded marine company, which has multiple businesses including a marina, boatyards, engineering dealerships and engineering service and repair arms under its umbrella, is recruiting for an experienced PA/Administrator to join their busy team on the south coast to support the MD and the company’s busy office.
Candidates will have worked in a similar role within a marina and/or boatyard and will have at least 5 years Administration/PA experience.
Requirements of the position:
Educated to 6th form/Tertiary college level
Must have O level/ GCSE grade B or above in English and Maths
Preferably A level English and Maths or BTEC/NVQ professional equivalent
Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage Accounting Software, preferably having had formal training and have certificates to prove this.
Some responsibilities of the position:
P A to Managing Director
Administrator Duties:
Telephone receptionist
Boat Yard bookings and invoicing (liaising with Boat Yard staff)
Controlling Company advertising budget and liaising with publishers
Drafting and issuing Company letters and emails
Preparing Spread Sheets (liaising with Accounts Manager)
General office Admin Tasks
Organising food and refreshments for training courses and meetings
