As the best inland windsurfing location in the UK, there’s something special about Rutland Watersports Centre. It’s the place to experience the limitless thrills of windsurfing - planning, carve gybing, and jumping, as well as the high speeds of powerboating and the beauty, power, and grace of sailing. And how better to do this than as part of our talented team of instructors?

This is one for the wave addicts. You’ll pass your expertise in all things watersports on to our team while ensuring adults and children alike are trained to RYA standards in sailing, windsurfing, and powerboating. We’ll trust you to train staff, issue permits, and oversee our popular retail and lifestyle shop. Plus, as you crave new experiences, you’ll get the chance to try your hand at marketing.

A HND in leisure management or equivalent would be desirable. Though we’re more interested in the fact you’re a well-respected RYA Senior Instructor in dinghy sailing or windsurfing with supervisory experience at a watersports centre. Qualified in first aid, you’ll have a flair for engaging with people, from young people and adults on our courses, to retail and equipment suppliers and site contractors. Your passion for watersports and talent in a range of disciplines will ensure that customers and staff alike gain the skills they need to make the most of Rutland Water. If you eat, sleep, and breathe watersports, you’ll fit right into our talented team.
