JOB DESCRIPTION
An excellent opportunity has arisen with ABP's prestigious Town Quay Marina for a Marina & Site Maintenance Assistant.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the day to day running of Marina operations including moving & berthing of craft as required.

Duties will include; responding to Marina customer and tenant needs, carrying out Marina repairs and minor maintenance works on the Town Quay development, as well as monitoring the vacuum drainage system. You will also be responsible for the security of Town Quay and completion of administrative / office based duties as required.

The successful candidate must have;

•     5 GCSEs
•     Grade A-C or equivalent, qualifications in Powerboat 2 and Day Skipper and recent small craft experience, including confidence in boat handling, both sail & power including towin.
•     You must also have; experience of general maintenance activities, the ability to communicate clearly & professionally and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.
•     Experience of VHF radio would be desirable, as would, a working knowledge of Southampton Water, previous experience within a security environment and office based experience.
•     General handyman and basic carpentry skills are desirable.
•     You must have the ability to work shifts, this role includes working days, nights and weekends.
