JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is continuing to expand their fleet of vessels dedicated to a wide range of marine surveys across the world. They are currently seeking to employ a Master Mariner within their team. We would welcome applicants with experience in a similar role.
The successful candidate needs to have experience in the following areas;
- Command Experience
- Fully Familiar in ISM and ISPS
- Working Knowledge of Vessel Operational Requirements
- Proven Project Management Experience
- Chief Mate or Master Mariner Ticket
The position is a shore based role and will be based at our clients head quarters in Norfolk. You will be required to visit vessels as part of your managerial role on a worldwide scale, to promote communication and inter-department as well as inter-company relations relating to the effective running of the vessels. This will involve travel and some working away.
