JOB DESCRIPTION
Based in the Southampton office, with travel as required.
Reporting to the Sales Director.
Manage and develop the UK territory account base that includes, but is not necessarily limited to, England, Mid & North Wales.
The territory includes existing accounts, namely recreational and commercial boat builders, yacht sales agents and brokers, charter companies, boat operators, designers, naval architects and surveyors.
With feedback from sales enquiries, quotations, orders and market forces assist in pricing policy and product placement.
Assisting the Sales Director to develop and implement both internal and external sales strategies to drive the company forward.
Assist in the internal training of staff where your experience and expertise allows and working with the Sales Office Manager to achieve this.
Key Tasks:
- Responsibility for the overall management and development of accounts in the territory, not only in terms of sales and margin but also general promotion, training, talks, and support.
- Key account management and special projects.
- Mapping the territory and customers to understand and develop business opportunities.
- Territory responsibility for sales, quotations, margins, special pricing, reviews and reporting, and supporting the Accounts Manager on account payment.
- Boat Show attendance (including SIBS & LIBS).
- Working with the internal sales team to further support the role.
Salary - A company car and phone are included (with private use) in the package as well as a company bonus scheme.
