JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is continuing to expand their fleet of vessels dedicated to a wide range of marine surveys across the world. They are currently seeking to employ a Vessel Superintendent within their team.
The successful candidate needs to have experience in the following areas.
- An understanding of ISM, ISO and ISPS code requirements
- A working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and systems
- Perform inspections and audits prior to departure (Qualification is an advantage)
- Delivering feedback to crew on inspections
- Working Knowledge of Vessel Operational Requirements
The position is a shore based role and will be based at our clients head quarters in Norfolk. You will be required to visit vessels as part of your position on a worldwide scale, to promote communication and inter-department as well as inter-company relations relating to the effective running of the vessels. This will involve travel and some working away.
Salary
