Person Specification:RYA Dinghy Instructor
- Valid 1st Aid Certificate
- Powerboat Level 2
- Additional endorsements welcomed.
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
- Racing Instructor
Job Description:
Responsibilities of the Dinghy Instructor may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Carry out all lessons in line with the RYA syllabus and DOSC Standard Operating Procedures.
- To provide coaching in the Sailing Academy, and provide assistance to the Chief Instructor in the development of the scheme.
- Assist with Maintenance and updating Sailing Department assets and inventory list.
- Carryout maintenance on both the safety and sailing fleet.
- Assist with the facilitation of evening sailing events; cruiser and dinghy evenings
