JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE :  Sailing World Cup Administrator

ACCOUNTABLE TO  :  Head of Sailing World Cup

JOB PURPOSE  :  To provide administrative support to the Head of ISAF Sailing World Cup and the ISAF Sailing World Cup Manager.  This is a working document to be reviewed on an on-going basis.

Candidate Profile

Required 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work and communicate well with volunteers, professionals and colleagues
  • Excellent filing, organisation and administration skills 
  • High level of personal presentation, preparation and organisation 
  • Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel & Word) and confident with IT systems 
  • Accurate with a good eye for detail 
  • Sound judgement and common sense in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters 
  • Ability to interact with people from different countries and cultures 
  • Ability for occasional travel abroad with reasonable notice

Desirable
  • Knowledge of sailing regatta management and organisation
  • Experience of sail racing
  • Ability to speak another language (French or Spanish) in addition to English
Role

To support and administer:
(a)   the work of the ISAF Sailing World Cup Management Group - scheduling meetings, taking minutes, organising conference calls etc.;
(b)   communication between logistics providers, organizing authorities, classes, MNA's and athletes;
(c)   meetings (reports, presentations etc.) and communications within ISAF as well as with stakeholders;
(d)   the qualification systems, accreditation and communication with MNAs.
(e)   the ISAF Sailing World Cup Registration System; 
(f)    the ISAF Sailing World Cup microsite;
(g)   the ISAF Sailing World Cup calendar.
(h)   liaisons between the different departments at the ISAF Secretariat and key ISAF stakeholders
(i)   delivery of marketing material and shipment to ISAF events with the Marketing and Media Department;

Additional Roles
(a)   To organise international travel  with the Administration Department;
(b)   To support the Sailing World Cup venues with the implementation of new services  and expectations as direct by the ISAF Sailing World Cup Manager;
(c)   To support the work of the ISAF Competitions Department and the Head of Competitions including occasional international travel to assist with meeting and events; and
(d)   Any other tasks assigned
