| JOB DESCRIPTION |
Our customer is a provider of a range of engineering services and products to commercial industries throughout the UK.
They currently require an Instrument Service Engineer to support and repair their range of Emission Monitoring systems. Due to an increase in their coverage of the marine and shipping industry, they are seeking someone from this background.
The role will entail telephone support from their head office, on site support services where required, and also scope to provide training services. You will be expected to take accurate records of all contact, and be able to supply detailed reports stating any queries and their findings.
The ideal candidate will come from a support role within instrumentation elsewhere within the maritime sector, and have experience working with and on board vessels. You will be a self starter with the ability to work at all levels of technicality, and be able to explain findings in terms that both clients and colleagues will understand.
