| JOB DESCRIPTION |
A leading designer and builder of a range of Superyacht tenders in Germany require a highly skilled Design Engineer to join their team. A longstanding business in this sector, they are keen to expand their team with an experienced individual.
Ideally from a background working in a Design Engineer or Naval Architect role, you will have experience working with Composite materials and small craft. You will be highly skilled in the use of Solidworks 3D and CATIA, and be used to working with a varied range of different softwares to a good level. A Naval Architecture or similar degree is also required.
You will be joining an existing Design Team of 5 individuals and be looking to come in at the upper end of the team, being able to fill in for the Design Team Lead when he is out of the office. There will be an element of project management also involved, so experience working as a Boatbuilder or in marine construction would also be of huge benefit.
As this role is outside of the UK we welcome international applicants for the position. Whilst being able to speak German is not a must, an interest in learning the language would be required. There will be assistance available for relocation for anyone living outside of the UK.
