JOB DESCRIPTION
Elvstrøm Sails UK is seeking an effective sales person, with a good understanding of the UK cruising and racing sailing market, to work in our friendly, Hamble based sail loft and help drive our business expansion plans.

You will be a self-motivated, confident, team player, have a passion for detail, and excellent interpersonal skills, at all levels.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate successful business development and/or sales experience, and have a good understanding of the sailing market, and have good contacts in the sailing world.

The role will include identifying potential clients within key market sectors, converting sales, developing long term relationships and managing both OEM and individual customer accounts.

You may already be working within a business that deals with trade and retail clients, in a similar or unrelated market.  You do not need to have previously worked within sail making. However, you must be able to demonstrate good sales skills and sailing experience.

Elvstrøm Sails UK is part of Elvstrøm Sails Denmark, the largest sailmaker in Europe, providing quality products to both private owners and yacht builders.  This is a new position to support our expansion within the UK market.
