JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading global brand name within the marine industry as well as other industries.

They have a urgent requirement for a Marketing and Events professional to Provide support to the Sales and Marketing Manager in the delivery of all commercial activities relating a variety or products and department, developing innovative marketing and sales strategies, tactical campaigns and creating and maintaining the divisional marketing budget within parameters set by Sales and Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

    Plan and implement all marketing campaigns, coordinating exhibitions and Dealer events as required.
    Research prospects, plan and coordinate all events, managing attendance and ensuring the support of the Dealer Network.
    Plan and maintain expenditure budgets, ensuring projects are within the annual limits at all times.
    Administer, record and maintain Loan & Demonstration/ Show fleet units.
    Gather market and Dealer information, attend regular sales meetings and contribute to management reports as required.
    Research competitor activity, including price and terms comparison and sales statistics.
    Record and maintain detailed knowledge of the products, organising retail and wholesale communications across the industry.
    Provide input into the overall sales and marketing strategies.
    Develop the brand and ensure a distinctive positioning, enforcing CI rules and acting as Brand Guardian.
     Build and maintain professional and positive relationships with suppliers, agencies and third parties.


Education/Training and Experience:

Essential:

    Budget management experience
    Experience of planning marketing campaigns and events
    Attainment of minimum numerical and verbal reasoning scores
    Knowledge, understanding or exposure to core principles of Marine and ATV Industry
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages

Desirable:

    Previous experience within the Marine and ATV industry
    University Graduate in a relevant field or qualified by experience

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to relate effectively with individuals at all different levels
    Flexible in approach, with the ability to reprioritise and multi-task when required
    Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
    High degree of self-motivation, productivity and acute attention to detail
    Demonstrates a can-do attitude with the initiative, drive and resilience to see tasks through to completion

Salary

£26,000-£30,000pa
