JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is the leading UK supplier of high quality, reliable and cost effective solutions for the marine and offshore industry, they are looking for 2 Area Sales Managers to join their team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through to close and completion of the order process in an assigned territory.

You will develop and implement an agreed marketing plan which will be designed to meet both personal and business goals.


  •     You will have a full and complete understanding of the company’s price list and products.
  •     You will sell consultatively and make recommendations to customers of the various solutions to the company.
  •     You will develop and keep up to date the company database and CRM system through referrals, telephone contact, face to face meetings, direct mailing, email, and networking.
  •     You will assist in the implementation of the company marketing plan as necessary.
  •     You will create and conduct effective proposal presentations and responses.
  •     You will be responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
  •     You will gather and submit detailed business information for pricing and presenting solutions to customer and prospect problems.



  •     You will maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within your assigned territory, including the use of the CRM system to maintain accurate records to maximise territory potential.
  •     You will attend exhibitions and conferences representing the company in a professional manner.
  •     You will participate and contribute to the development and implementation of educational and training programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
  •     You will build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  •     You will maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  •     You will be aware of the company’s competitors, their products and obtain pricing comparisons, and access their strengths and weaknesses.
  •     You will develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the Sales Director, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.


The successful candidate will be expected to travel around there region as well as spending at least 1 day a week in the office.

Salary

£22,000 - £25,000 with an OTE of an extra £10,000 - £15,000 + company car
