JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Waterfronts Operation Manager and Head of Greek Operations, your primary aim is to ensure that all activities are delivered in accordance with governing body guidelines, and as such ensure that all external inspections are a success. You will oversee the safe and successful running of the beach, bike and children's programme.

The activities manager plays a fundamental role in creating a welcoming and encouraging environment in which all guests feel at ease participating in activities. You will be a source of advice and information for instructors with regards to session planning, delivery and on water safety.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Customer Focus:

  •     Collating weekly CSQ feedback and responding to any unsatisfied guests
  •     Update all Ocean Elements social media sites weekly.


Operational:

  •     Overseeing the safe and successful running of the children's programme.
  •     Effective running of the entire activities programme.
  •     Motivating all activities staff to deliver high standards and enjoy their work by initiating incentives
  •     Responsible for implementing and completing ongoing training programs in all areas and at all levels for all staff
  •     Organising weekly rotas for beach and children's club staff
  •     Running a weekly staff meeting with all activities staff to discuss the previous week, feedback and prepare for the week ahead.
  •     Teaching a variety of sessions when required.
  •     Write Risk Assessments for all beach related activities and areas of operation.
  •     Ensure all COSSH information is collated and stored on site along with all other maintenance, health & safety records and weekly reports/stock takes
  •     Sales:
  •     Upsell in-resort extras: Junior Squad, Private Tuition, Powerboat Tuition, merchandise, equipment sales
  •     Using initiative to meet sales targets on logbooks, course sales, merchandise and private tuition.

  •     Internal: Head of Greek Operations, Waterfront Operations Manager, Regional Head Office, General Staff
  •     External: Industry officials, hotel manager, suppliers
