JOB DESCRIPTION
Golden Arrow Marine is a specialist marine power, systems and equipment service supplier and is part of the Salterns Marina Ltd group.  We have 4 branches along the South Coast that are multi franchise and represent major brands within the marine industry.

Our Chichester branch is located in the prestigious redeveloped Chichester Marina boatyard. This branch is official Volvo Penta, Honda, Perkins and ZF marine dealers and serves the thousands of boats in Chichester harbour and further afield.

We have a vacancy for a Branch / Service supervisor to oversee the day to day operations at the Chichester Marina branch.

To be successful in this role you must love the marine environment, have a desire to deliver excellent customer service at all times and be able to work under pressure. Have good communication and personnel management skills and the ability to inspire colleagues to deliver consistently high standards of work.  Providing quotes and costing for jobs, planning and scheduling work, monitoring work in progress and the general day to day running of the branch are key functions of this role.  It also includes sale of equipment such as inboard and outboard engines and providing product and technical knowledge to customers.

You will be expected to develop and grow the business, actively promoting and seeking out opportunity for sales.An understanding of business commerce and budget setting is required reporting to the Management board with engineer efficiency, sales figures and debt management.

You must be computer literate and a team player able to assist other members of the company when required with your marine industry experience and knowledge.
