JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:
As a workshop assistant you will be involved in all aspects of workshop procedures including:
Be a key member in our boat production team
Customer Fit out
Customer Preparation
Helping to ship out over 1500 boats a year.
Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas.
Assisting with stock take
Unloading/Loading of lorries
Keeping the workshop area tidy
Liaise and communicate with all members of the organisation at all levels.
Compliance with company Health and Safety policy and procedures
Plus any other duties the Operations Manager may require you to complete

Essential Skills:
Must be physically fit.
Able to work as part of a team and independently
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Reliable
Flexible
Able to work quickly without supervision
Good communication abilities
Ability to complete basic paperwork

Desirable Skills:
Forklift truck certification
Knowledge of sailing boats

Working Hours: Full-time, Permanent
