JOB DESCRIPTION
The Role

The company is an internationally recognised consultancy who look after various different types of vessels throughout the whole industry.
An experienced surveyor with a huge amount of experience in the industry who has come from a seagoing background ideally within a senior capacity. Your duties will include international travel to carry out on site surveys.

You will be reporting to the managing consultant whilst liaising with the group company managers. You will be responsible for carrying out surveys on but not limited to; condition, pre-purchase, damage and repair as well as carrying out investigations on failures and casualties

The Candidate

The company is only interested in successful surveyors that have a proven track record in the industry.

There will be the opportunity to investigate and inspect new builds as well as vessels in repair and yard facilities

It is essential that you can generate concise detailed reports that are going to help you maintain and develop client relationships. The successful individual must be able to undertake ISM and Safety audits.

The Detail

The role will be based in the London office and will involve travelling internationally at short notice, to carry out onsite surveys as required.

We are only interested in seeing applications from individuals who have a class 1 certificate of competency / degree or equivalent in the industry.

£45,000 - £57,000
