Company Description

A very well established and successful client based in London who has been around for many years is currently in a position to be offering a full time role to a senior engineer.

The Role

The successful individual will be in charge of 5 vessels throughout the year looking after all the mechanical and electrical maintenance with the possibility of getting involved with other areas when required. You will need to have experience with a variety of engines specifically with 4 and 6 cyclinder as well as repairing and servicing generators and diagnosing faults.

The position itself could have you working on anything from Transmisions, control systems, shaft line and couplings, plumbing systems and layouts as well as DC electrical systems.

As the senior of the team it will be your job to manage and track all maintenance records, stock control as well as health and safety records. You will also be requested to look after dry docking, other craft, work boats and the pontoons.

Salary

£26,000 - £35,000
Opportunity to earn 3-4 bonus's per year
