A busy Boatyard based just on the outskirts of Southampton requires an experienced Yard Operative to join them on a permanent basis.
Working with Commercial and private vessels up to 80ft in length, you will have experience working with a range of lifting cranes, cradles and tractors capable of working with vessels up to 40 tonnes. You will also need to be versed in manouvering craft of up to 60ft to and from pontoons/berths.
Further to the above you will play a maintenance role to ensure that all mechanical equipment on site is kept serviced and in good order, that the boatyard is kept neat and tidy, and also carry out basic maintenance on the main building on site.
