We are looking for someone to join our busy little team as a yard operative in Emsworth, Hampshire.
Are you bright, articulate, customer facing. Do you know your port from your starboard, your bow from your stern, do you enjoy working with and being around boats. Have you wondered what it would be like to work in beautiful surroundings in the outdoors enjoying both rain wind and sunshine, if you have then perhaps this is the opportunity for you?
Some of the tasks you will be required to carry out in this role are; operating boat moving equipment and forklift, maintaining all yard equipment, lift and launching of boats to name a few.
We would expect you to have good mechanical skills, driving licence, customer service skills and a good knowledge of boats. Be able to work without supervision and as part of a team and have knowledge of health and safety.
You will be required to work outside in all types of weather and you should be physically fit.
Salary in the region of £17,000 to £19,000 depending on experience. Working week Tuesday-Saturday
