Marine Resources are currently working with one of the best known brands in the luxury marine sector, based in Dorset. Due to continued growth the brand now seek skilled Carpenters to join there team in building large luxury vessels.
Based at their central waterside manufacturing facility, you will be working to fit out pre-fabricated interior woodwork to all areas of the vessels from galley to Stateroom, as well as create basic customised parts to ensure that fit and finish are of the highest standards. You will be working on a wide range of vessels of increasing value, and so eye for detail, clean and well presented work is of the utmost importance. You will however also be required to be neat and tidy in your day to day work.
Whilst the role is marine related, you don't necessarily need to come from a marine background. Those working within high end hotels or luxury shop fitout will also be considered for the position. As part of the recruitment process you will be expected to undergo a basic skills test at the manufacturing facility under the supervision of one of the line management team.
