JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to recruit a marine engineering mechanic for the role of Dredge Engineering Officer, working principally on the Company’s cutter suction dredger and work boats.

Training and experience in afloat mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems are essential; previous dredge experience is desirable.  Less experienced candidates will be considered for the role of Dredge Engineer, from which position you will have the opportunity to gain the experience for the senior role.

Main duties will include the safe operation of the vessel, maintenance of ship’s machinery and ensuring the safety of the crew.  You will also undertake a range of engineering administrative tasks; therefore, you must be computer literate.

A full driving licence is also essential.
