JOB DESCRIPTION
Golden Arrow Marine is a specialist marine power, systems and equipment supplier and is part of the Salterns Marina Ltd group. We are UK distributors for Moteurs Baudouin engines and gearboxes, TRAC stabilisers, thrusters and hydraulic systems and Maxwell windlasses together with being main dealer for MAN and Perkins engines, ZF and PRM gearboxes, Kohler and Northern Lights generators.

Our customer base is broad ranging from individual boat owners and operators to major UK boat builders, UK MoD and international shipping lines.

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Marine Engineer to carry out service, repair and overhaul work on site and at our workshop.  To be successful in this role you will require experience of equipment and systems on boats of up to 45m and ideally of the engine and gearbox brands we represent with manufacturer training and a professional qualification.

You must have excellent problem solving and diagnostic capabilities together with knowledge of marine electrics, engine management systems and general boat systems. You must work to the highest standards un-supervised and take responsibility for your work, an uncompromising approach to quality of work and customer satisfaction is required.

You must reside local to our Southampton office which will be the main place of work. The job is based mainly along the South coast, however when required travel within the UK and overseas with nights away is a requirement for this position.
