JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is the exclusive dealer for many of the world’s leading yacht brands, providing an unrivalled level of aftersales service and maintenance across the Asia-Pacific region.
They require an experienced Commissioning Manager, trade certified with a marine background from either electrical or mechanical fields.
You must have experience with hands on diagnostics and problem resolution with a comprehensive understanding of pleasure craft systems:
- Electrical
- Mechanical (ancillary systems)
- Air conditioning
- Hydraulic
You will be proactive and positive – they deal with problems on a day to day basis and the successful applicant will need to find answers to resolve these problems.
You will be well-mannered and a team player – interaction with clients, crews, brokers and fellow service staff is a part of this job.
Efficient office / IT skills – emailing, supplier online portal interaction and general MS Office skills are required.
Practical onboard knowledge and skills – be able to move through a boat, trace systems, check items hands on (not delegating to others) to obtain the information required.
Due to the nature of this vacancy, you must have a valid EU Passport. Without this your application can not be considered.
Salary
£38,000 - £45,000 per annum
