JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client has opportunities for persons who are established within the role of a Environmental Project Manager.

Due to business growth our client are recruiting an Environmental Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be accountable for managing current and new offshore marine environmental projects. This will involve ensuring that the financial, contractual, quality, HSE and other obligations are met in accordance with both company and client standards. In addition you will be key member of the team which is responsible for the marketing, development and growth of the services our client offers.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to liaise and build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. This will include client visits and presentations, as well as the assessment, preparation and submissions of tenders and the subsequent follow up actions.

Desirably the successful candidate will have:

•     A degree in business management, administration/or marine science related or equivalent, although individuals with A level education will be considered
•     A proven ability to build strong face to face relationships,
•     Can negotiate effectively,
•     Manage conflict for positive outcomes
•     A passion for the marine environment.

The Environmental Project Manager will also be expected to be proficient in MS office, in particular excel, word and outlook and experience with CRM systems would be hugely advantageous.

The nature of this role will mean that you will be expected to respond to requests outside of standard business hours, additionally global travel will be essential in this role.
