JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a fully integrated shipyard providing shipbuilding, ship repair, and engineering solutions to serve the offshore and marine industry around the world. They are dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of proven offshore and marine products and services to clients worldwide, specializing in the building of ships; of both steel and aluminium hull construction.

Job Responsibilities:

•     Providing overall leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving results efficiently and safely.
•     Risk management and problem solving
•     Complies with and helps to enforce Company standards, policies and procedures.
•     Providing leadership by using effective verbal and written communication to manage the owner/client, architect and consultants as well the project team in all phases of the work. This includes developing and motivating teamwork between all parties.
•     Understanding and implementing general conditions and requirements of the contracts associated with each project and monitoring the contract documents for conformance and execution.
•     Ensure the quality, cost and time management for the project
•     Keep good relations with clients
•     Solve the problem on site and well-planning skills.
•     Liaise with client regarding project related issues and keep the client updated on project progress.
•     Review daily plans and progress and take appropriate action to ensure compliance to project schedule
•     Ensure adherence to QA and HSE policies and procedures
•     Ensure that the project documentation is correctly maintained.
•     Liaise with all the related departments like procurement, production, engineering etc.
•     Prepare & analysis cost report for the top management.
•     Prepare monthly progress report for clients.
•     Prepare project master & production plans.

Job Requirements:

•     Experience as a Project Manager in a reputed Shipyard.
•     Excellent verbal & written communication
•     Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, effective writing and computing skills
•     Must be proficient in the use of Project Planning software such as MS Project
•     Ability to interpret specifications and requirements
•     Education: Degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering/Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering or Naval Architecture

Salary

$12,000 USD per calendar month (salary, housing, overtime, car allowance) + 30 days annual leave + medical insurance + annual return flight.
