JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Boat Sales Executive
Reporting To: Sales Manager

Be responsible for the development of both new and pre-owned boat sales. Deliver exceptional customer service standards with integrity and professionalism.

JOB CONTENT

  •     Maintain and update sales leads for both new and pre-owned boats on the company CRM system
  •     Work with marketing assistant to promote sales of new and pre-owned boats
  •     Work on the company stand at Local, National and International boat shows at the request of the Sales Manager
  •     Convert enquiries to sales and manage the ongoing customer relationship
  •     Ensure the factory stock boats are maintained and valeted on a regular basis
  •     Ensure any maintenance issues are escalated and managed through the appropriate channels
  •     Set up new customer accounts and maintain existing account details
  •     Report on sales pipeline, conversion rates and success of marketing channels
  •     Prepare relevant Terms & Conditions of sale for pre-owned boats
  •     Manage the direct sales area, meeting and greeting potential customers and ensuring the reception area is presentable at all times
  •     To keep communications open with the other functions at all times
  •     To observe all company policies
  •     To handle all documentation promptly and accurately
  •     Maintain quality standards
  •     To ensure records are accurately maintained
  •     Create reports as required
  •     Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally
  •     File data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned
  •     Set personal targets to stretch those set by your Manager

  •     Lead source and customer record management, measured through the quality and size of the customer/prospects database

PERSON SPECIFICATION


  •     Fluent English language, and experience of working within a powerboat sales department are essential
  •     ABYA accreditation and a second language are desirable
  •     Able to demonstrate good attention to detail
  •     Computer literate with good MS Office skills
  •      Ability to convert sales enquiries to actual sales
  •      Ability to present reports for sales pipeline purposes
  •      Ability to prioritise workload with efficiency and effectiveness
  •      A flexible approach and the ability to work to strict deadlines
  •      Strong communication skills both orally and in writing
