NRL Opportunity; Damage Control Zone Lead- Fife
Our client currently has a requirement for a Damage Control Zone Lead to be based in Fife on a contract basis.

As an ACA leader, lead the successful on-ship delivery of a full damage control zone onboard QNZL, accountable for driving the zone(s) performance across the following:
. Planning
. Engineering
. Material management
. Production management
. MSC
. Quality

This will be achieved through the creation of an environment where multi-disciplined teams are inspired to deliver to or better than the agreed schedule and cost. Embedding a culture where all team members are proud to be safe and where a clear, transparent and consistent performance expectation is set for all team members and where everyone is held to account to deliver upon it.

Key Skills

  •     Demonstrated capability and experience in successful submarine re-fit or ship build delivery
  •     Demonstrated capability in successfully leading a multi-discipline team including major sub-contracts
  •     Experience of management of SHE legislative and governance requirements
  •     Cost, control, earned value management, planning and budgeting
  •     Ability to identify and articulate sound propositions/ solutions balancing risk and opportunities to meet programme demands
  •     Ability to lead a team to operate in line with governance requirements
  •     Well-developed negotiating/ influencing skills at a strategic level to enhance programme delivery
  •     Ability to develop, lead and inspire a team, to meet and exceed programme deliverables
