JOB DESCRIPTION
Subject to qualifications already acquired the following work would be required from a fully qualified Marine Engineer.

Purpose

•     You will required to carry out work allocated from the appropriate manager
•     To join a small team of Marine Engineers with their own complimentary skills
•     The work will require you to work on diesels & petrol’s, stern drives, inboard & outboard engines
•     All vessels will be up to 15m in length and any type of craft such as Ribs, Power boats & yachts
•     You will be expected to carry out fault finding and accurate diagnosis of problems
•     You will be expected to have good time management for carrying out repairs and replacements
•     Duties will include carrying out other boatyard activities as and when required
•     The majority of the work that the candidate will be required to do is in relation to outboard engines.
•     Ideally the candidates will have relevant qualifications in relation to outboard engines

• The candidates that apply must have experience on all types of marine engines and makes.
• The successful applicant will be required to work with a small team of engineers; you will be informed of the work required from you, which will be completed with the minimum of interruption.
• Use your skills to compliment the other colleagues already there.
• The applicant must be confident, well motivated, and up for a challenge.
• The successful applicant must enjoy working in a small boatyard, with a small friendly well motivated team.
